Dr. Naresh Shanmugam underwent undergraduate training at Stanley Medical College and Postgraduate Training in Paediatrics at Institute of Child Health, Chennai.
With a view to enhance his skills, He underwent training at Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH,UK) accredited structured training program in Paediatrics and Neonates (Certificate of completion of training, C.C.T ) and then took sub-speciality training in Paediatric Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Nutrition.
After extensive training, RCPCH and General Medical council (GMC, UK) awarded him Certificate of Sub-Speciality training (C.S.S.T) in Paediatric Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Nutrition.
