Dr. Lavenya has over 10 years of experience in Paediatrics and over 5 years of experience in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She completed MBBS from Coimbatore Medical College and MD Paediatrics from Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children (ICH&HC), Madras Medical College. Subsequently in the UK she completed MRCPCH and trained in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology, King’s College Hospital NHS Trust, London.
Areas of expertise – She has a vast experience in managing children with common ailments and good expertise in managing children with complicated gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
She is an expert in managing chronic constipation, GERD, Food allergies, Feeding difficulties, intestinal failure and rehabilitation, use of parenteral nutrition, Inflammatory bowel disease, Neonatal cholestasis, Autoimmune liver disease, NAFLD, Paediatric Liver transplant.
Having worked in UK’s largest Paediatric liver transplant centre she is well experienced in managing children pre and post liver transplant, intestinal and multi visceral transplant.
