Dr. Leena Balachandar is an experienced ENT surgeon, specialized in otolaryngology and head and neck surgeries from the renowned Stanley Medical college, Chennai. She is skilled in performing the procedures and surgeries such as adenotonsillectomy, ventilation tube insertion, dacryocysto rhinotomy, micro laryngeal surgeries, snoring and sleep apnea procedures, functional endoscopic sinus surgeries, endoscopic and microscopic ear surgeries and middle ear reconstruction. She has worked as a faculty in 2 different post graduate teaching hospitals responsible for training undergraduate and postgraduate doctors, where she further developed her surgical precision. She is especially interested in pediatric airway procedures and phonosurgery.

She actively participates in national/international ENT conferences and workshops to learn new skills and to update current concepts in otolaryngology. Her practice is evidence based, bringing the recent scientific updates to diagnosis and treatment. She is research oriented and has published 2 papers in International Journal of Otolaryngology.
